Élisabeth Tovar

Élisabeth Tovar is a lecturer at the Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense and a member of the EconomiX mixed research unit (UMR 7235). Her work focuses on urban economics, as well as urban segregation and spatial justice, particularly in the Greater Paris and Greater Lyon areas.

She coordinated a special issue of Revue d’économie régionale et urbaine entitled “Ségregation urbaine et accès à l’emploi” (“Urban Segregation and Access to the Job Market”) and in 2012 published “Ville et ségrégation, une illustration à la lumière des capabilités. Le cas de Paris et sa petite couronne” in Regards sur la ville. She is currently the editorial secretary for the journal Revue d’économie régionale et urbaine.
