Olivier Ratouis

Olivier Ratouis holds a PhD in history and civilizations, and is a philosopher by training. He has accreditation to supervise research (habilitation à diriger les recherches), following a habilitation thesis titled Temps et catégories de l’urbain, and is professor of urban planning at the Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense. His research is the fruit of an approach that lies at the intersection of several domains: the history and analysis of the systems of production of urban territory, the doctrines and theories of urban planning and design, and urban semantics.
