Shaka McGlotten

Shaka McGlotten is Associate Professor of media, society, and the arts at Purchase College, State University of New York (SUNY). An artist and anthropologist, his work on race and queer cultures looks to sites of cultural emergence and decay. He is the author of Virtual Intimacies: Media, Affect, and Queer Socialities, and co-editor of Black Genders and Sexualities and Zombie Sexuality.
