Scott Markley

Scott Markley is a PhD student in geography at the University of Georgia. His current research investigates the multiple spatial expressions of racial capitalism, directing special attention toward the historically co‑constructed geographies of race and economic value in metropolitan areas. His work has appeared in the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Urban Geography, Journal of Urban Affairs, Atlanta Studies, and elsewhere.
