William Helmreich

William Helmreich is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at City College’s Colin Powell School and at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center. He is the author or editor of 15 books, including The New York Nobody Knows: Walking 6,000 Miles in the City and The Brooklyn Nobody Knows: An Urban Walking Guide, both published by Princeton University Press.
