Eliza Benites-Gambirazio

Eliza Benites-Gambirazio is a PhD student in sociology jointly supervised by the University of Arizona in the United States and the Université Paris‑3 (Institut des Hautes Études de l’Amérique Latine (IHEAL), UMI 3157 & UMR 7227) in France. Her current work concerns residential dynamics in the Tucson metropolitan area in Arizona; her thesis focuses more specifically on the practices of developers and realtors in structuring demand for new forms of residential communities and enclaves. Her research lies at the intersection between urban sociology, economics and the environment.
