As more and more countries impose new restrictions or even second lockdowns, we are more aware than ever of the role of mobility in our lives. Working from home, the collapse of tourism, the safety of public transport, the expansion of cycling networks, the resilience of communities and economies, the future of aviation, experiences of confinement, flight to the countryside and the coast… These are all issues that we need to examine in order to understand how our ways of life are being transformed and may evolve in the near future. The Mobile Lives Forum seeks to publish short articles by researchers and practitioners on the effects of travel restrictions on our mobility patterns in relation to lifestyles, the mobility transition and inequalities.
Metropolitics needs your help more than ever! Our journal, launched 10 years ago, will be forced to close in the next few months if we do not manage to raise €20,000 ($25,000). So far, we’ve received over €16,000, which is fantastic, but not quite enough. We are therefore calling upon your solidarity and generosity to help keep Metropolitics going, free and accessible to all. If you pay taxes in France, your donation is 66% tax-deductible. THANK YOU !
