Jacques de Maillard

Jacques de Maillard is professor of political science at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (where, with Xavier Crettiez, he is co-director of a master’s programme specialised in the analysis of conflict and violence) and a researcher at CESDIP (Centre for Sociological Research on Law and Criminal Justice Institutions), where he is assistant director. Since 2011, he has also been a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His research focuses on local governance, public security policy and policing.
