Leonor Vanik holds a master’s degree in urban planning (MUPP) and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA), with a focus on the intersectionality of the built environment, community development, housing, and marginalized communities—specifically people with disabilities across the lifespan.
