Leonie Tuitjer

Leonie Tuitjer holds a postdoctoral position at the Institute for Economic and Cultural Geography at the University of Hannover, in Germany. She received her PhD in human geography from the University of Durham, in the UK, where her dissertation was funded by research grant no. 1333726 from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). For her dissertation, she spent six months at Chulalongkorn University, in Thailand, researching the effects of climate change on displacement. Her research interests include climate change, qualitative research methods, posthumanist philosophies, and urban studies.
