Laisa Eleonora Marostica Stroher

Laisa Eleonora Marostica Stroher is a researcher associated with the Laboratório de Estudos e Projetos Urbanos e Regionais (Laboratory of Urban and Regional Studies and Projects) at the Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC; Federal University of the ABC Region [Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, and São Caetano do Sul] Region) in Greater São Paulo; she holds a PhD in urban management and planning (from UFABC), which included a period as a visiting scholar at KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven) in Belgium. She has special interest in topics related to neoliberalization and financialization of cities. She has experience as a teacher and consultant on urban and housing planning, and she is a social activist on urban issues and public education for all.
