Justin Steil is an Assistant Professor of Law and Urban Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Broadly interested in social stratification and spatial dimensions of inequality, his recent research has focused on immigration federalism, residential segregation, lending discrimination, environmental justice, and mass incarceration.
