Edward W. Soja

Edward W. Soja is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Urban Planning at the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA, and for many years was Centennial Visiting Professor in the Cities Programme, London School of Economics.

He is the author of Postmodern Geographies: The Reassertion of Space in Critical Theory (1989); Thirdspace: Journeys to Los Angeles and Other Real-and-Imagined Places (1996); Postmetropolis: Critical Studies of Cities and Regions (2000); and Seeking Spatial Justice (2010).
