Antonine Ribardière

Antonine Ribardière is a geographer and lecturer at the Université Paris‑1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She works on socio-spatial inequalities in urban environments as part of the PRODIG (Pôle de Recherche pour l’Organisation et la Diffusion de l’Information Géographique – Research Cluster for the the Organisation and Dissemination of Geographical Information) mixed research unit. Her research interests include markers of social divisions and the way in which they are projected in the urban space – and, in turn, the way they participate either in their reproduction or in the attenuation of their effects. In parallel to her work on the Paris region, she has worked since 2008 on the urban region of Mexico City. In 2011, she published, with Bernard Tallet, Mexico. Atlas/Mégapoles (Paris : Autrement).
