Francesca Pilo’

Francesca Pilo’ holds a joint doctorate in urban planning from Paris-Est University (Université Paris-Est, France) and Fluminense Federal University (Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil). Her research focuses on the links between the governance of electricity infrastructure, citizenship, and spatial inequalities in cities of the Global South, taking into account their material and technological dimensions. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Urban Studies of the University of Amsterdam.
