Sandra Parvu is a research fellow in the Laboratoire Architecture Anthropologie (LAA, School of Architecture of Paris-La Villette). Her work focuses on post-war urbanism, housing policy and large-scale planning, and the politics of landscape architecture. She has published Grands ensembles en situation. Journal de bord de quatre chantiers (MétisPresses, 2010) and is currently involved in various research projects, including the influence of landscape atlases on urban planning in France, rural practices in urban contexts in the Republic of Moldova, and the territorial implications of housing demolition under the US government’s Hope VI program in Los Angeles.
