Adèle Momméja

Adèle Momméja is a CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) research fellow and a member of the Centre Européen de Sociologie et de Science Politique (CESSP; European Center for Sociology and Political Science). Her work focuses on everyday politicization and the biographical consequences of political engagement, based on a socio-historic approach to politics. Her PhD dissertation (Paris-Nanterre University, 2016) examined the formation of a public problem relating to young people of immigrant origin and the social movements engaged on behalf of this social group. Her current research considers the different paths taken by former militants of the OAS (Organisation Armée Secrète – Secret Armed Organization), with a particular interest in their exit from political violence and their post-conflict transformations.
