Hélène Mathian

Hélène Mathian is a research engineer at the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and a member of the Géographie-cités mixed research unit (CNRS, Université Paris‑1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Université Paris‑7 Diderot). As a specialist in geographical data modelling and spatial analysis procedures, her research interests include the formalisation of geographical databases and the development of methods for processing and representing these data, as well as their application to questions regarding spatial organisations and the dynamics thereof, particularly in metropolitan spaces.
