Bénédicte Madelin is an urban-policy professional, the founder and former director of Profession Banlieue (an urban-policy resource center in Seine-Saint-Denis, in the northeastern suburbs of Paris), and a member of the national coordinating committee of Pas Sans Nous, an association representing working-class neighborhoods.
