Alex Loftus

Alex Loftus is professor of political ecology at King’s College London. He is a political ecologist who studies the political economy of water struggles. He is the author of Everyday Environmentalism: Creating an Urban Political Ecology (University of Minnesota Press, 2012) and co‑author of Water: A Critical Introduction (with Katie Meehan, Naho Mirumachi, and Majed Akhter; Wiley-Blackwell, 2023) and Discovering Political Ecology (with Gustav Cederlöf; Routledge, 2024).
