Matthias Lecoq

Matthias Lecoq holds doctorates in geography (from the University of Geneva) and political science (from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). His work concerns the role of inhabitants in the production of the city. He is an associate researcher at the Institut de Gouvernance de l’Environnement et Développement Territorial (Institute of Environmental Governance and Territorial Development) at the University of Geneva, and a consultation project manager at the Office de l’Urbanisme de l’État de Genève (State of Geneva Urban-Planning Office). He is also the founder of the collective La Fabrique de l’Espace (Geneva), whose work focuses on the future of the city.
