Kay Jowers

Kay Jowers is an attorney and sociologist working as a senior policy associate at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. Her research interests include community environmental health, environmental justice, environmental law and policy, and collective behavior. She collaborates with community organizations on applied policy research to support community-driven solutions to neighborhood environmental inequities, and co-leads the Duke Environmental Justice Lab.
