Michèle Jolé

Michèle Jolé, associate researcher at CRH–LAVUE (Housing Research Centre at the Laboratory for Architecture, the City, Urban Planning and the Environment; UMR 7218, CNRS), is a sociologist and ethnographer specialized in urban issues. Recent research interests include socio-ethnography and the use of walking as an analytical and poetic exploration of territories.

Her publications include “Regarder” (Urbanisme, no. 370, January/February 2010) and “Le destin festif du canal Saint-Martin” (Pouvoirs, no. 116, January 2006).
