Sébastien Jacquot

Sébastien Jacquot is a lecturer in geography at Paris‑1 Panthéon–Sorbonne University. He is a member of the research team EIREST (Équipe Interdisciplinaire de Recherches sur le Tourisme – Interdisciplinary Team for Research into Tourism) and an associate researcher within the joint research unit PRODIG (Pôle de Recherche pour l’Organisation et la Diffusion de l’Information Géographique – Research Cluster for the Organisation and Dissemination of Geographical Information). His research focuses on informal practices in cities and the regulation of these practices; institutional and informal heritagization; and issues relating to big data, particularly with regard to tourism.
