Lauren Everett

Lauren Everett is a photographer, filmmaker, and doctoral candidate in the urban studies program at Portland State University. She received her bachelor of science in film from the University of Texas at Austin, and her master of urban studies with a focus on place-based identity and spatial struggles from Portland State University. Her research interests are place attachment, moral ownership, and tenants’ rights, which she examines using visual, narrative, and participatory methods. She is originally from Los Angeles.
