Youssef El Chazli

A graduate assistant at the Institute of Political, Historical, and International Studies of the University of Lausanne, Youssef El Chazli is currently enrolled in a dual PhD program at the University of Lausanne and the University of Paris‑1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His doctoral research focuses on Egyptian contentious politics, and more specifically on revolutionary dynamics in the city of Alexandria. From September 2014 to August 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies at Columbia University in New York.
