Christian Deverre

Christian Deverre is a sociologist and director of research at the French National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA; UMR 1048 SAD-APT AgroParisTech, “Proximités” team). In particular, he has worked on the development of environmental policies in rural areas. His research today concerns the reappraisal of the industrialised food system and the urban and agricultural social movements that promote alternative systems.
