Maylis Desrousseaux

Maylis Desrousseaux is an assistant professor in public law, specialized in environmental law. She teaches at the École Supérieure des Géomètres et Topographes (ESGT; School of Surveyors and Topographers) in Le Mans – part of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam) – where she is a member of the research unit LGF (Laboratoire Géomatique et Foncier – Geomatics and Land Laboratory).

Her research interests have, since her doctoral thesis, focused on soil protection and on land-related issues more generally, including the question of land articificialization.

She has always worked in multidisciplinary (ecology, geography, sociology, etc.) and sometimes international contexts (Intergovernmental Science–Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
