Clémentine Comer is a doctor of political science, a member of the research unit Arènes (UMR CNRS 6051), and a postdoctoral fellow within the IRISSO research unit (Institut de Recherche Interdisciplinaire en Sociologie, Economie et Science Politique – Institute of Interdisciplinary Research in Sociology, Economics and Political Science; UMR CNRS 7170‑1427) at INRAE (Institut National de Recherche pour l’Agriculture, l’Alimentation et l’Environnement – French National Institute for Research in Farming, Food and the Environment). Her research focuses on the structuring and maintenance of single-gender spaces of engagement and mobilization within farming organizations. She also participated in a collective study on the biographical impact of militant action in the period following the events of May 1968 (ANR Sombrero project). On the subject of the women’s movement in farming, her publications include “L’égalité professionnelle en agriculture. Un féminisme modéré au service du patronat familial” in Actes de la recherche en science sociale (no. 223, 2018, pp. 58–71).
