Pierre Chabard

Pierre Chabard is a French state-certified architect (diplômé par le gouvernement, or DPLG) and a doctor of architecture. He is an assistant professor at the Paris–La Villette architecture school (École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris–La Villette) and a member of the AHTTEP laboratory (Architecture, Histoire, Transport, Territoire, Patrimoine – Architecture, History, Transport, Territory, Heritage) within the AUSSER mixed research unit (Architecture, Urbanisme, Sociétés : Savoirs, Enseignement, Recherche – Architecture, Urban Planning, Societies: Knowledge, Teaching, Research; UMR CNRS 3329). His research focuses on the social and cultural history of modern and contemporary architecture. He is also a co‑founder of the journal Criticat.
