Monica J. Casper

Monica J. Casper is Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona. She is the author of several books and articles, including the award-winning The Making of the Unborn Patient: A Social Anatomy of Fetal Surgery, and a co‑managing editor of The Feminist Wire. Her current book project, under contract with the University of California Press, is Measure Every Grief: The Quiet Politics of Infant Mortality.
