Antoine Bréau

Antoine Bréau is a teacher of physical education with agrégé status and the holder of a PhD in sports science. He is based in Switzerland, where, alongside teaching and training activities within the Haute École Pédagogique du Canton de Vaud, he completed his doctoral dissertation at the University of Lausanne. His dissertation focused on the question of gender in physical education classes: using the theory of “doing gender,” he examined ways of “doing” and “redoing” gender when teachers decide to separate girls and boys.
