Cédric Ansart is a landscape architect and urban planner. As a research officer on public spaces and urban planning at CEREMA (Centre d’Études et d’Expertise sur les Risques, l’Environnement, la Mobilité et l’Aménagement – Centre for Studies and Expertise on Risks, the Environment, Mobility, and Town and Country Planning), he is interested in the design of ordinary public spaces and in particular the relationship between spatial quality, the development of “active” transport modes and the appropriation of spaces.
